1. AVAILABILITY

The offer of any room is subject to the room being available on receipt of deposit.

2. DEPOSIT (Non Returnable)

A deposit of £40.00 per person per week is required which will be credited against the account. The insurance will be added to the deposit and is not returnable.

3. PAYMENT

Account balances must be paid by credit, debit or switch cards or cash. Please note that payment is due on arrival. All extras not paid on departure will be automatically charged to your credit card. No personal or company cheques are accepted.

4. CAR PARKING

Although every reasonable care is taken the Hotel does not take any responsibility regarding guests cars. Our car parking is limited at busiest times, however free on-road parking is available directly in front of the hotel.

5. DOGS

Please note, we do not take dogs.

6. V.A.T.

V.A.T. is included in all prices and is calculated at the present rate of 17.5% and is subject to any change.

7. BATHING TOWELS

Guests are requested to bring their own towels for the beach or swimming.

8.MEALS AND REFRESHMENTS

Breakfast served between 8.00 and 9.30am. Dinner served between 6.30 and 9.00pm. Sample menus available on request, meal times subject to occasional variation, during our busiest times there may be a wait for a table.

9. ALLOWANCES

No allowance can be made for rooms not being occupied for the full period of booking or for meals not taken.

10. VALUABLES

The proprietor cannot be held responsible for cash or valuables unless they are deposited in the Hotel office and a receipt obtained.

11. FIRE SAFETY

The Hotel is up to date with its fire precautions and has been granted a fire certificate.

12. ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

Bookings commence at 3.30pm on day of arrival, ceasing at 10.30am departure day - late checkouts will be charged for. Guests are welcome to use the hotel all day through, and late checkouts may be arranged at an extra charge. This arrangement can only be made close to the date of the holiday and subject to availability.

13. VARIATIONS

Occasionally the Management may vary the entertainment or amenities on offer. We reserve this right.

14. DDA

Please advise us of any access needs that you have in order that we can provide the appropriate service.

15. CHILDREN

Please note Children are not permitted to use the facilities available at Fistral Spa. The indoor and outdoor pools at the Esplanade will be available for their enjoyment.

16. SPECIAL OFFERS

Special offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, and if conditions are not met then the standard tariff will apply.

17. BEHAVIOUR

Behaviour of guests and their visitors should not be excessive or rowdy, and must not cause embarrassment to fellow guests. We reserve the right to recover any compensation payment as a result of your actions, or a member of your party or visiting friends. This includes damage to hotel buildings, fixtures and fittings.

19. SMOKING

Please note that from 1 October 2006 the Esplanade will be non-smoking in all public areas.

20. REFURBISHMENT

The hotel continually strives to improve levels of comfort and the quality of services in all areas and certain areas of the hotel are subject to ongoing refurbishment. We always try to minimize the impact of this during your stay.

Holiday Cancellation Scheme

In the event of cancellation we make every effort to relet the accommodation. However if we are unable to do so you can be held legally responsible for two thirds of the total cost of your booking.
We have joined an insurance scheme whereby you may cover your liability to the hotel and also secure the return of your deposit.

The charge is £4.00 per adult, which should be added to your deposit.

By means of this insurance, provision can be made for the repayment of the deposit already paid and in such amounts for which you may be legally liable to the proprietors up to the limit of £500.00 per person should your holiday be cancelled by reason of death or accident to, sickness of husband, wife, in–laws, brother, sister, child or close business associate or pregnancy (if unknown at time of booking).

A Doctors certificate and notification in writing is required.
