We are licensed to perform the wedding service and we also have a choice of function rooms for your celebration. All areas have been cleverly designed by our interior designers to achieve the all important balance between contemporary, modern living and those all important classic values.

Because we are a family run hotel we understand that each Bride and her family have their own special requirements, which is why we offer a bespoke and tailored service to suit your individual wants and needs.

Civil Ceremonies

Civil ceremonies at The Bay Hotel offer a popular alternative to a church or registry office.

Civil ceremonies are conducted by the Superintendent Registrar and registered by the Registrar. If you've decided to have a civil wedding, it is essential to make an advanced booking with the Registrar. The earlier you book, the more likely you are to get the date you want. The Bay Ballroom

Elegant and sophisticated, The Bay Ballroom can accommodate up to 60 guests for your civil service.

Room Hire: £200.00

Celebrations

The Bay View Restaurant

The spacious and tiered Bay View Restaurant is suitable for up to 160 guests. Guests enjoy the dramatic views over the Atlantic coastline and exciting cuisine based on a wide range of local fresh produce. To accompany your meal, we have a comprehensive wine selection which includes all the popular choices - plus a few surprises that are definitely worth investigating.

Following your meal, guests can move through to the Ballroom where they can enjoy the celebrations until the early hours of the morning.

Room Hire of Restaurant and Ballroom: £300.00

The Bay Hotel Ballroom

Ideal for smaller more intimate events, The Bay Hotel Ballroom seats 60 for private dining or up to 125 for a buffet. Within the Ballroom, there is a private bar and dance floor.

Accommodation

The Bay offers flexible accommodation for your guests. All bedrooms are en-suite and attractively furnished to make your guests’ stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We are delighted to offer a complimentary stay for the Bride and Groom in one of our gorgeously designed ‘Best’ rooms. Each room has been decorated to a high specification, and there are a variety of styles to choose from.
