Functions and conferences in Newquay just got more exciting with the opening of the new Bay Suite at The Bay Hotel.
The New Bay Suite at The Bay Hotel, located overlooking Fistral Beach in Newquay, will be open to the community for meetings and events throughout the year and has already received a number of enquiries regarding bookings for the new facility.
The Bay Suite is fitted with state-of-the-art equipment including video-conferencing facilities, presentation technologies including plasma screens, large (8 x 6ft) projection screen and digital LCD projectors, air conditioning, adjustable lighting, microphones and PA systems.
Showcasing a large (1000ft) dancefloor, unique colour changing starlit ceiling and stylish bar area the Suite can also be successfully used for functions of up to 200 people.
The Bay Suite has a capacity for 100 seated and 200 standing and can be hired out as room only or styled to your requirements.
Since 2009, The Bay has seen a 40% increase in bookings for conference facilities and business away-days and they hope to be able to further develop these figures in 2011 with the new Suite.
Since achieving 4* status earlier in the year, The Bay has been proactively growing and strengthen their services and facilities and the Bay Suite is the latest addition to the hotel. As a direct result, the hotel now counts a number of large national brands among its growing commercial client list. Visits from Sainsburys, BT, Johnson & Johnson, A&T Services, Quiksilver Europe, and ING are boosting its reputation as a haven for mixing business and pleasure, with delegates able to take advantage of the award-winning beachside spa and restaurant facilities in between their all-important brainstorms and board meetings.

Ocean £29.95 per person - To include a two-course sit down lunch. Extra course optional at £4.
Each day delegate rate includes room hire, jugs of iced water, tea coffee & biscuits on arrival and mid-morning, lunch (specific to package type) and tea and coffee in the afternoon, plus conference pads and pens for each delegate.
