The Blue Reef Aquarium - This aquatic world is home to some truly incredible creatures. The sheer variety of their size, shape, colour and behaviour makes the world of land animals seem quite tame in comparison! From jellyfish and giant octopus to freshwater turtles, puffer fish and living corals, there are literally oceans of extraordinary characters to meet at the aquarium.
Newquay Zoo - The award winning Newquay Zoo is set amongst exotic lakeside gardens with animals from all around the world ranging from the smallest monkey the Pygmy Marmoset to 'Ronnie' and 'Connie' the African Lions. From the amazing open rainforest exhibit to the beautiful oriental garden there is something for all ages and abilities.
Waterworld - Situated close to the zoo, Waterworld offers a Tropical Fun Pool with water cannon, tipper, slides, erupting volcano, flumes, spitting snakes & crocodile.
Crazy Golf - Challenge Dad to a game of Crazy Golf at one of the numerous Crazy Golf courses in and around Newquay offering fun for all the family!
Dairyland Farm World - Masses to do, with plenty of play areas and children's activities; a huge new undercover play area, the Bull Pen, with climbing nets, slides and ball pools and of course the farm.
St Eval Kart Circuit - Located on the north Cornwall coast (between Padstow and Newquay), St. Eval Kart Racing Circuit is the largest, fastest and most exciting race circuit in the South West. Fantastic family fun!
Wooden Waves - Located in Trenance Park, free use with skate equipment available for hire, Wooden Waves offers a series of ramps and slides for the skateboard enthusiast. Also hosts events and competitions.
Holywell Fun Park - Ride, slide, splash and spin -the huge variety of attractions includes Kiddy Karts, Formula 1 Go-Karts, Battle Boats, Merlin's Maze adventure golf, indoor play area and more.
Lappa Valley Steam Railway - One of the oldest railbeds in Cornwall situated on an old mineral line, Lappa Valley is a lovely narrow gauge railway that runs through a wooded valley.
You can also hire a boat at the Boating Lake, enjoy a game of tennis at Heron Tennis Centre, play the slots at the arcades, enjoy the local wildlife around the Gannel Estuary or cycle along by the Trenance Gardens. Within an hours drive you can explore almost any part of Cornwall from the Moors down to Lands End encompassing The Tate Gallery, The Eden Project and many more venues.
